Coach

ADAM HART

Q&A

After playing at a high level of non league, I often thought how high I could have played if I was coached the right way?
This ultimately gave me the incentive to give young players the tools to play as high as they could.

I am a UEFA B and youth module qualified coach. I have coached professionally in schools, local clubs and at academy level at a premier league club.

My career highlight to date is helping 6 young players achieve professional level including Tom Bloxham who is currently-playing first team football in league 1 Shrewsbury Town at 17 years of age.

Christian Fuchs – his enthusiasm, professional approach and winning mentality is phenomenal.

To give players, an opportunity to feel comfortable expressing themselves on and off the pitch.

Q&A

While age has got the better of me in playing, football gave me so much in my life I felt I needed to give back to football, which is why I started coaching at the age of 16.

I am a level 2 FA coach, who has coached children from 5 years old up to adults continuously for the last 26 years.

I have not been fortunate to coach at an elite level but I have been involved with grass roots football, and my career highlights is always getting players playing at levels they never thought possible. Giving grass roots footballers all the right basic skills to test themselves against some of the more naturally gifted players.

To help lose the stigmas linked to womens football and show that football is for all.

Q&A

My dad was a coach at my local boy’s football club, one day I got the chance to join in, loved it, and never looked back!

I played for Leicester City from roughly 11 years old until leaving for America on a soccer scholarship at 18. I returned to Leicester City aged 22 and played semi-professionally in the FA Women’s Championship. I played last season with Sheffield United until joining Coventry United this season as a full-time professional footballer in the FAW Championship. I also got my first Northern Ireland caps in 2019 and I’ve been a part of the squad since.

My career highlight has to be the times I’ve spent with the Northern Ireland squad, getting my caps, meeting some brilliant players and travelling the world.

I’ve been lucky enough to share the pitch with some incredible players, including Kirsty! Experienced players like Rachel Williams, Jo Potter and Leandre Little really helped me grow as a footballer and see the future in the game.

I hope that She Believes can grow the women’s game from the grassroots level, and show the girls that there is now a career in women’s football. I want girls to enjoy the game as much as I do!
